You can never tell what the weather will be at the beginning of spring. There have been times when we left the house all bundled up, only to have me standing like a coat rack in the middle of the playground, as my child disrobes down to her T shirt. Then of course there are the instances where she sat there shivering on a perfectly sunny day, with the breeze blowing hard (but not quite as hard as the other mothers’ glares at me because my kid is cold and I’m unprepared).
These days, I always make sure I have a light knit top on hand for when the season hasn’t decided to fully commit to the warmth we all wish for. This cashmere blend baby and kids sweater is an easy fix to a chilly baby or toddler.
Created by renowned Italian designer Album di Famiglia, the color is basic enough to not ruin an outfit with its addition and the classic silhouette is very luxurious. Details are simple, as they should be in a kid’s sweater. A rolled collar, clean lines and exposed merrowed hems give off a casual yet sophisticated look, perfect for any occasion (think Easter suit pants with a nice collared shirt).
And of course make sure you pull it out in anticipation the second you get to wherever you’re going. Just to show the other moms you’re prepared. After all, it’s important to be ready in a minute, but to also be ready in style.
