Estella was founded in New York City by us — Jean and Chike — parents of three (and one very loved dog).

We started the company because we couldn’t find baby gifts that felt as thoughtful, design-forward, and meaningful as the families we were shopping for.

Too much of luxury baby retail felt predictable. Too much of mass baby retail felt impersonal.

Estella pieces are designed in New York and made by hand — our knit toys and knit garments handknit by artisans in Peru using organic cotton, our cut-and-sew clothing made in India from organic cotton. We're not on Amazon, and we never will be. If we make it, you can trust exactly how it was made.
