Home Sweet Home

If there’s one thing my daughter loves it’s to play house. She has a kid’s kitchen that took my husband and I four hours to put together last Christmas. I actually had to remove part of my own kitchen (a free-standing cabinet) to fit it into the décor. She has more pots and pans than you can shake a spatula at. And, of course, for her birthday she got four “working” appliances. Every morning she makes coffee for us in her little faux coffeemaker. This means that every morning, we get to clean water up from the floor.

So without stifling my child’s desire to play not-so-Susie homemaker, I’ve discovered a great place to put it all. This awesome playhouse from Cardboardesign is home sweet home. Now she can have her own space, I can have mine. Oh happy day. She is the queen of her domestic castle, with plenty of room to cook, feed her babies and lounge around with a full belly.

She can also exercise her artistic side of things with this lovely playhouse (after all, isn’t cooking just a bit of artistic design with food). Because of its cardboard design, the entire abode can be decorated with stickers, paint or markers. No more drawing on my walls. Now she can draw on her own.

And of course there’s even a mail slot, which is great for when the mailman wants to deliver utility bills to her door instead of mine. Check out our organic baby toys
