Have it All

I once saw my daughter have an argument with herself about whether she wanted apple or orange juice. It was the funniest/saddest thing I have ever witnessed. She stood in the kitchen in front of the two containers I had taken out. What followed was an interesting interchange with herself that actually ended in tears. “I want OJ. No! I don’t want OJ. I want apple. I want orange! Waaaah!” Wow.

Before her head could explode from the pressure of choosing a tasty beverage, I managed to pry the empty cup out of her hands. Into it I poured a 50-50 mix of apple juice and orange juice. She was in thankful awe of my great Mother Knows Best skills.
