Mormor, Organic Baby Clothes, Handmade With Love

Making its US debut at Estella this season is Mormor, a Danish children’s knitwear line. Knit with super soft organic alpaca yarn, these baby sweaters and children’s knits are relaxed and comfortable. Nothing is outsourced to Asia or mass produced, quite to the contrary, everything is made in Denmark by retired grandmothers. We were pleasantly surprised in our store recently when one such grandmother stopped in to say hello, she was in New York City celebrating her 80th birthday!
