Brooklyn-based line Kallio is unlike any other brand out there. The designer, Karina Kallio, takes the term “sustainable fashion” to a whole other level by reworking pre-loved vintage clothing into new, unique, and stylish items for kids. She manages to turn a pair of sleeves into one-of-a-kind harem pants, a flannel jacket into a hooded cape, and a men’s button-down into a shirt dress. Pretty neat, right? Not only are these clothes environmentally conscious, but they’re also fun and easy to wear. Be sure to check out this video that the brand made explaining how it makes its pieces, too!
