Going Green

Just look out the window. I don’t know what you see, but I still see gray. Winter is sticking around a bit longer than I would have liked. Rain, sleet, snow, puddles—there’s nothing out there yet even resembling spring. I want green, but the only green thing I see outside are a few pine trees and the new car across the street.

So when I saw this 100% cotton poplin sundress by Belgian designer Max & Lola, I almost began to question the groundhog’s prediction from a few weeks ago. Spring is finally here, I rejoiced. This sweet little outfit made me long for the sunnier seasons. The days when I can kick off my shoes, run through the grass and pick glorious flowers that grow wild in the fields. Actually I don’t even need to frolic. I just want to stop having to go outside wearing a coat, hat and gloves.

With its bright grass green shade, this sleeveless dress is a splash of fresh loveliness. The epitome of springtime happiness. And just like little rays of sunshine, the zipper and stitches offer a surprising pop of bright orange detail.

And as if it was having even more fun than the little girl wearing it, this dress swings and spins and twirls with careless abandon. Now that’s a great way to put a little spring in her step.
